Case Study and Instructions:
Bamboo Chart Plus Web Part helps you present critical information such as sales
per region, issues by categories, number of tickets per category, task status,
or project milestones. It is available in several languages including
Spanish, French and German. The Chart types available are Area, Bar, Pie,
Bubble, Point, Line, Spline, Stacked Area, Stacked Area100, SStacked Bar, or
Stacked Bar100.
Case Study: Jane’s Coffee and Tea
Jane sells coffees and teas around the world via her online store. She not
only knows beans, but also knows that SharePoint can help her manage data
associated with her global, online operations.
The Challenge
Showcase Jane’s sales figures on her company’s corporate portal so that
employees can see which products are selling in different regions each quarter.
Jane would like to showcase three statistics: her U.S. sales, International
sales, and then total sales. She also would like to show revenue based on
the category.
How to do demo the Chart Plus Web Part
The HW27 Chart Plus List (See the List below) and Chart Plus
Web Part
have been preconfigured for you. The charts have been created as shown
below.
Follow the following steps to view how to input and delete the test data to
HW27 Chart Plus List:

Click on the New Item button on the HW27 Chart Plus
List in order to input the test data. Once you are ready, click the
OK button to get back to the List. Now, if you review the Charts
you will see the Charts change due to the new data.

In order to delete the test data, click on the Clear All Items button on
the HW27 Chart Plus List. A pop-up window will appear.
Click on the OK button.
You must signed in as "qa\demo1", password is "demo123" in order to edit items
in the List. |
